The latest amendments to the CCMA rules became effective on 1 April 2015. In many aspects, these amendments fundamentally altered the rules introduced in 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2012. Practitioners are required to be aware of these differences as well as the practical applications attached to such differences. In a new publication, CCMA Rules Including Rules of Various Courts, the author, Dr Brian van Zyl, in respect of each CCMA rule, firstly, sets out the rule before and from 1 April 2015 (eg page 160) and, thereafter, analyses such differences (eg pages 170 and 171).
